Heraklion & Knossos – A Journey Through Cretan Culture and History

Join us for a fascinating day exploring the heart of Crete’s culture and ancient history.

Our first stop is the local market in Heraklion, where you'll have free time to walk around, soak in the local atmosphere, and shop for traditional Cretan products like olive oil, cheese, and olives.

Next, we head to Heraklion city center, where a guided walking tour introduces you to the city's main sights. After the tour, you'll enjoy some free time to explore on your own or visit the famous Archaeological Museum.

The highlight of the day follows: a visit to the Palace of Knossos, the legendary Minoan site associated with King Minos and the myth of the Minotaur. You'll discover its fascinating history during a guided tour.

We return to the hotel after a day filled with history, culture, and authentic Cretan experiences.
