Samaria Gorge – An Unforgettable Hiking Adventure

Get ready for one of the most breathtaking experiences Crete has to offer – a hike through the legendary Samaria Gorge, the longest gorge in Europe, located in the heart of the White Mountains.

Your day begins early in the morning with a transfer to the Omalos Plateau, the starting point of the 16-kilometer hike. The trail leads you through spectacular scenery, dense pine forests, steep cliffs, and crystal-clear streams. Along the way, you may spot the famous Cretan wild goats (kri-kri) and enjoy panoramic views of the mountains and nature at its purest.

The hike ends in the coastal village of Agia Roumeli, where you'll have time to relax on the beach or enjoy a meal in one of the local tavernas. In the afternoon, a boat takes you to Chora Sfakion, where the bus will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.

This full-day adventure is a must for nature lovers and active travelers looking for a challenge and unforgettable views.
